 About Village IT: 

Providing services to the Village Roadshow Group of companies, our team is uniquely positioned within Village IT.  This role sits within the Workplace Services team of 13 staff across the Eastern states. Customer Success is at the core of our work, and your colleagues are technically capable, highly engaged and fun individuals!

 The role you will play 
 
You will bring your energy, technical and communication skills to deliver customer success.  This will encompass IT Services to internal customers, providing client computing and telecommunications services, enabling internal customers to achieve their business tasks.
 
Directly reporting to the Workplace Services Lead your accountabilities will include (but are not limited to): 

  • Provide a high level of level 2/3 technical support and customer service
  • Acting as the technical escalation point for Technology Analyst Team (as necessary) 
  • Utilising ITSM software for service request management, incidents, problem, change and escalations, following ITIL-aligned processes, keeping to Service Level Agreements 
  • Creation & maintenance of current processes, procedures & knowledge articles to achieve efficient & effective support (including the development/maintenance of end-to-end service descriptions/agreements, risk registers and technology roadmaps. 
     

Experience Required:

  • Experience providing desktop support and excellent customer service in a large commercial environment 
  • Professional communication skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse audience
  • Effective time management skills and attention to detail  
  • Strong, independent problem-solving methodology including root cause analysis
    Extensive exposure to:
    • Windows 7 and Windows 10 MOEs 
    • Microsoft365 deployment/management/licensing 
    • Retail/POS environments, EFTPOS and peripherals support 
    • Microsoft Active Directory (on Premises and Azure),  
    • SCCM 2012 and Intune  
    • Group Policy Objects, Mobile device support  
    • Software Packaging 
    • iOS & Android management, with Exchange 2010/365 Hybrid Mode, MDM 
    • Video Conferencing (Cisco Telepresence and emerging Skype/Teams room-based systems) 
    • DHCP / DNS  
    • Print Management
