What we will need from you
No two days are the same, so you will need to be comfortable with the diverse and varied nature of the role!
As well as providing general HR support and guidance to employees, you will also be expected to support the HR team with our annual performance and salary review process, as well as other exciting initiatives we have planned for 2020. Any experience you have with facilitating training and coaching relating to performance reviews and providing advice during performance counselling will be valuable.
Delivery of operational support in areas such as ER / counselling, job design, performance management, remuneration & benefits and succession planning are core to the role. Employee Relations is also another important aspect of this role, bringing your ability to provide advice to managers regarding relevant awards, agreements and legislation.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to work along side others as we innovate in order to improve efficiency in the business.
What skills and experience will come in useful?
If you have sound experience in employment law, including interpreting awards, EA agreements and negotiations, legislation etc. in a complex environment, this will be highly regarded.
Reporting and systems experience, ideally with exposure to SAP and PageUp will be considered advantageous.
Prior experience in a similar role is an absolute must.
