About the role:
Located in South Yarra, you’ll work within our dynamic Sales & Events team. You’ll be responsible for administration and execution of various functions and events at our cinema locations. The Senior Sales and Event Executive is responsible for generating new business across conferencing, functions & events, advertising, and partnerships whilst maintaining and developing client relationships and ensuring we deliver exceptional experiences. This is a 12 month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in the entertainment and cinema industry where you’ll get to build relationships with many different stakeholders.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Generate sales via developing strong relationships with VCA’s existing and new clientele
- Manage individual inbound sales calls and emails to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly & annual sales targets
- Maintain an effective sales pipeline
- Ensure best in class relationship management practice & governance across all partnerships and sales clients
- Overall client management and event coordination for multiple events across multiple locations
- Performing administrative tasks including invoicing, booking requests, booking/confirmation letters, CRM data entry and effective communications with our cinema sites
About you:
We are seeking a highly organised and results-oriented individual with track record in sales and events. a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role will suit someone who is an exceptional communicator who is excited about enhancing stakeholder relationships, and inspiring the greater team, as well as the magic of the cinema industry! Your strategic mindset and analytical skills enable you to drive revenue growth and navigate complex challenges. You bring a proactive attitude to everything you do, always seeking ways to enhance efficiency and improve outcomes.
The key skills and competencies we are seeking in the successful candidate include:
- 2 + years in sales and event management
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Experience working in the entertainment industry is advantageous
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales reporting
