The opportunity:
Are you ready to work in the fresh air while turning your passion and trade skills for gardening and outdoor aesthetics into a rewarding career? Warner Brothers Movie World and Sea World are searching for their next apprentice Groundsperson to assist with park presentation. If this sounds like you, apply TODAY!
As an Apprentice Groundsperson, you will help deliver a high standard of park presentation, whilst enhancing the aesthetics of the grounds of our property. You will also have opportunities to add your own creativity and imagination to our amazing property. Enjoy the work life balance with early starts, and early finishes while still completing a 38-hour work week. Shifts range from 5:00am starts to 1:30 – 2:00pm finishes, with a 11:30am – 12:00pm finish every 6th shift based on business needs.
Your day to day:
• General landscaping and garden maintenance
• Mowing, hedging, spraying and general labouring duties
• Operation, maintenance and cleaning of tools and machinery
• Early starts with early finishes.
• Following all policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for team members and guests
What you’ll bring:
• A current manual drivers licence is desirable
• Ability to work at heights is desirable
• Able to work around domestic and wild animals
• A high level of understanding and commitment to Workplace Health and
Safety
• Must be physically fit, physical requirements include but are not limited to: carrying, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, twisting
• Must be able to start at 5:00am and work on any days including weekends and school holidays
