The opportunity:
Utilise your trade and creative skills. This role includes extensive machine use, full garment assembly, grading, cutting, mending and prop making. Work at Movie World, Sea World and Paradise Country to support VRTP costuming needs.

Your day to day:
• Manufacture and mend costumes at a proficient level
• Use trade/Industry skills to use multiple machines, perform advanced pattern making, exclusive garment cutting and manufacture, character creation and maintenance
• Conduct fittings and measurement taking at all parks
• Assist in the preparation of costumes required for promotions, events, filming and tours
• Sort costumes into wardrobe racking and storage rails
• Deliver appropriate costumes to required venues
• Assist dressing for park shows, auditions and events

What you’ll bring:
• Industry experience equivalent to a minimum level of Cert 2 or 3 Level of sewing skills
• Accredited training/Industry experience garment assembly and pattern drafting
• Full garment assembly knowledge
• Grading experience is essential
• Driver’s License is essential
• Skilled communicator with great interpersonal skills
• Well organised with a strong attention to detail
• Relevant health and safety knowledge desired
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
