Purchasing Assistant

The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientated individual to support our Purchasing Coordinator in the purchasing requirements for the business. Including but not limited to inventory and non-inventory stock, you’ll be the heart of our procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities
Be the supply chain superstar who keeps the shelves full, and our parks stocked. You’ll:
• Review Purchase Orders to ensure accuracy and issue to suppliers
• Update Purchase Orders with amended delivery dates
• Review and investigate outstanding Purchase Orders and close off where required
• Liaise with VRL Shared Services regarding purchase orders to avoid discrepancies.
• Formulate and issue reports to the business to improve the P2P process.
• Update supplier quotes and product information into the SAP system
• Investigate and resolve with suppliers any supply queries
• Liaise with team members to ensure all delivery requirements are met.
• Always ensure the highest level of customer service when working with both internal and external customers.
What We’re Looking For
Bring your spark and passion for purchasing, we’re seeking someone who makes procurement exciting. You’ll bring:
• Experience in supply chain/stock replenishment would be an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to work with stakeholders from all business areas.
• Highly developed problem solving skills.
• Strong computer skills, with competency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously when required
• Knowledge of SAP an advantage
