The Opportunity
Lights, camera, action! Warner Bros. Movie World is currently on the lookout for talented performers to bring two iconic characters to life, Scooby Doo's best friend Shaggy, and Batman’s rival The Joker!
This is your chance to join Australia’s premiere theme park and step into the shoes of legendary roles, performing for guests from all over the world. With flexibility, variety, and close access to Village Roadshow Studios, you’ll be part of a team that makes movie magic happen every day.

Key Responsibilities
You’ll be:
• Creating unforgettable experiences and world-class entertainment for guests of all ages and backgrounds.
• Delivering outstanding guest service with every performance.
• Maintaining character integrity and professionalism both on and off stage.
• Following all safety procedures and park policies to keep the magic safe for everyone.
• Embodying our core values of Respect | Safety | Engagement | Accountability in every interaction.
What We’re Looking For
Ready to take center stage? You’ll bring:
• A height between 180cm – 190cm (required for licensing compliance).
• The ability to portray Shaggy and The Joker with a convincing American accent.
• Strong improvisation and characterisation skills that bring personality and spontaneity to every moment.
• Teamwork and the ability to take direction in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Acting and/or stage experience (advantageous), plus versatility to perform in additional roles when needed.
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills.
• A professional attitude and appearance.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and school holidays.
• Blue Card is essential* (Please be advised that the cost of a Blue Card is currently $104.70, however, VRTP will reimburse employees who successfully complete three months of service).
