Kitchen Steward
$18.81 per hour Part-time, $23.52 per hour Casual
• Ensure all kitchenware is returned to its allocated kitchen area and stored in a clean & safe manner
• Report any issues that may affect kitchen operations or food safety immediately to your outlet Senior/Team Leader
• Assist with Event setup and pack down such as preparing of plate warmers, setting buffet(s), collection of plates/cutlery and service equipment from event location and returned to kitchen for cleaning & storage

Cook
$20.21 per hour Part-time, $25.26 per hour Casual
• Conduct food preparation and cooking duties ensuring menu items are prepared to recipe and quality standards
• Be aware of meal times and the importance of timeliness, efficiency and presentation of all meals
• Arrange, prepare and break down the buffet and food displays while maintaining a high standard of presentation
• Follow workplace hygiene procedures (HACCP) & maintain workplace in a clean & hygienic manner

Commis Chef
$21.29 per hour Part-time & Full-time
• Conduct food preparation and cooking duties ensuring menu items are prepared to recipe and quality standards
• Apply and monitor food safety procedures to ensure all menu items are prepared and served in line with food safety standards
• Report any issues that may affect kitchen operations immediately to the Demi Chef
• Ensure portion control and food quality while maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic work area
• Be aware of meal times and the importance of speed, time, efficiency and presentation of all meals

Demi Chef
$22.62 per hour Full-time
• Conduct food preparation and cooking duties ensuring menu items are prepared to recipe and quality standards
• Apply and monitor food safety procedures to ensure all menu items are prepared and served in line with food safety standards
• Monitor and motivate team members to achieve a high standard of service. Conduct training and assess competency of team member’s to assist in team development & mentoring
• Liaise with the Events Manager as & when required
• Knowledge of market trends relating to food and menus

Key Requirements for all Culinary roles
• Industry experience in high volume kitchen operations
• Excellent communication, time management and organisation skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Availability to work shifts across day and night trade including weekends
• Relevant Chef qualification(s) for role with Certificate III Commercial Cookery (Commis & Demi Chef)
