Trade Assistant (Multi Hire)
$38.37 per hour | 3 months fixed term
Movie World, Oxenford, Gold Coast

The opportunity:
We are currently on the search for a skilled Trades Assistant to support our maintenance team at Movie World. The Trades Assistant will assist tradespeople in the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Your day to day:
•   Assist and support tradespeople with equipment maintenance in accordance with VRTP procedures and policies required.
•   Assist with various rebuilds and repairs.
•   Follow workshop procedures and maintain workplace in a clean and organized manner to ensure a safe working environment.
•   Work effectively within a team environment to provide excellent guest service and to promote a positive working environment.

What you’ll bring:
•   Proven mechanical aptitude.
•   Valid manual QLD driver’s license essential
•   Forklift license essential
•   Ability work at heights
•   Elevated Work Platform (EWP) License, desirable.
•   Be able to work independently and in a team environment.
•   Ability to follow directions & communicate effectively.
