About us:
Intencity opened its first Family Entertainment Centre (FEC) in 1995 and was wholly acquired by Village Roadshow Limited in 1999. We operate closely with Village Cinemas and Warner Village Theme Parks.
Intencity can be found in 5 entertainment locations along the East Coast of Australia (including Adelaide and Tasmania), as well as over 60 game foyer locations. We have a vast array of classic and contemporary video, prize and skill tester games that appeal to children, teenagers and adults alike.
About the role:
With growth of our arcade business a new, unique and exciting opportunity for a technical dynamo has become available. Joining the Field Services team, you will travel the across Sydney and surrounding and regional suburbs to service and maintain a wide range of arcade machines. You will also be responsible for the development and implementation of practises, where necessary to ensure the efficient operation of the equipment.
This role will see you:
- Responsible for the diagnosis and repair of all amusement equipment; down to printed circuit board level, responding to requests for repairs within 24 hours.
- Source components and parts locally if viable.
- Maintain a safe work environment at all times and ensure games areas comply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
- Daily systematically travel between external locations in order to ensure that all assets of the company are being maintained and serviced on a regular basis.
- Liaise with operations management ensuring appropriate prize lines, stock levels and settings are maintained in prize vending games.
- Demonstrate and record of work-related activities with the use of a time and activity dairy/Log, ensuring measures are signed off by location and externals managers.
- Ensure Fault Log, Visit Diary and other essential communication tools and reports are completed in full at all times.
- Perform electrical testing and tagging.
About you:
We’re seeking someone who has experience in the repair and maintenance of arcade or amusement machines, however we are open to candidates from diverse backgrounds who have an interest in learning to become a Field Services Technician.
The key skills and competencies we are seeking in the successful candidate include:
- A trade background in basic electronics or an electrical licence is preferred, but not essential.
- Knowledge and experience on coin operated arcade equipment or similar industry is ideal, but not essential.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical / mechanical faults, ensuring quick and efficient repairs
- Driver’s licence and own your vehicle
- An autonomous working style with great time management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Must have or be willing to get Tag and testing certificate.
- Candidate will need to bring their own tools.
- Candidates must have full work rights to be eligible for this position.
