In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the secure storage, organisation, and upkeep of inventory, ensuring team has exactly what they need, when they need it. From managing stock and coordinating logistics to generating and maintaining purchase orders with precision, you’ll be at the heart of our operational success.

Key Responsibilities
Be the organized go-to who keeps everything running smoothly and on schedule. You’ll be:
• Maintaining optimal levels of inventory and critical spares to meet operational demands
• Ensuring secure and organized storerooms that is coherent to workplace safety standards
• Communicating with and supporting the maintenance team members on processes and queries relating to inventory.
• Generating and coordinating purchase orders for suppliers and contractors
• Coordinating delivery schedules to align with operational requirements
• Liaising with the accounts department to assist with invoices discrepancies, ensuring that suppliers are paid in a timely manner
What We’re Looking For
Are you the organized, hands-on pro ready to keep our inventory running like clockwork? You’ll bring:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role is essential, preferably within a mechanical/engineering industry as product knowledge is beneficial
• Forklift License and Manual Driver’s License is essential
• Experience in undertaking stock takes in a high-volume environment is advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• The ability to take ownership of the role, accountability of stock movement and store access
• Strong time management and organization skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated positive attitude and excellent work ethic
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• Intermediate computer skills with competency in the Microsoft Office Suite
