The Opportunity
Village Roadshow Theme Parks is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of major capital construction projects across our parks.

This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from early concept development and consultant coordination through to construction delivery, regulatory approvals and final handover. You will ensure all capital projects are delivered to scope, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards, supporting the organization’s long term strategic development.

Key Responsibilities
Bring your passion for construction, creativity and collaboration! You’ll be:
• Working with General Managers and stakeholders to scope project requirements, prepare concept sketches, coordinate consultants and develop accurate costings and CAPEX submissions.
• Responsible of the development for capital Construction programs with detailed co-ordination of park operational & safety requirements.
• Leading the full lifecycle of capital construction projects, including scoping, concept development, consultant coordination, design management, construction delivery and final handover.
• Developing and managing design and construction programs, chairing design meetings and ensuring design intent, materials and consultant outputs meet project objectives and VRTP Minimum Standards.
• Managing all building approvals and regulatory requirements with authorities such as Private Certifiers, Gold Coast City Council, QFES, Town Planning, EPA, Q Leave and Gold Coast Water.
• Overseeing tender processes, contractor engagement and construction delivery to ensure scope, budget, quality and schedule are met.
• Monitoring project performance including financial management, risk management, schedule tracking and monthly project control group reporting.
• Managing contract administration including progress claims, variations, final approvals and post contract obligations.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a capable and confident project leader with:
• Formal industry professional qualifications (construction or project management).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience leading teams.
• Strong budgeting, analytical and business management capability.
• Strong self organisation, problem solving and time management abilities.
• The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Comprehensive Construction related WH&S knowledge.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• High Proficiency in Project management related software, MS project or equivalent tools.
• Experience in PROCORE (beneficial)
• Good Experience in construction co-ordination and management principals.
• Experience in Design Management and Background (Beneficial)
