The Opportunity:
You’ll be part of the action, helping deliver meals and drinks to up to 900 guests as they enjoy a heartwarming, true-blue Australian show that brings the spirit of the Outback to life.
All successful applicants MUST have a valid Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Statement of Attainment from a Nationally Recognised Training Organisation.
Applicants must be able to work night shifts from Tuesday to Saturday nights as well as working Sunday day shifts as required.
The role is initially a seasonal position until February 2026 with opportunities for contract extensions or ongoing positions for standout employees.
Your day to day:
• Work effectively within a team environment or independently as required.
• Welcoming and engaging with guests from variety of backgrounds.
• Delivering meals and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner during a live show, while maintaining an awareness of dietary requirements.
• Work in the bar, preparing and serving a range of drinks as required.
• Setting up and packing down the venue.
• Operating point of sale system via cash register with accurate cash handling.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety and workplace hygiene requirements.
• Opportunities to pick up additional day shifts in Food & Beverage at our other properties may be available throughout the seasonal contract.
What you’ll bring:
• A valid Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
• Full availability to work night shifts from Tuesday to Saturday nights as well as working Sunday day shifts as required including over the school holiday periods.
• Reliable transport as shifts are outside public transport hours.
• High level of physical fitness with the ability to walk up and down stairs repetitively in a fast-paced and a dimly lit environment.
• A fun and positive working attitude with exceptional guest service focus and communication skills.
• Excellent grooming standards and a commitment to follow food & beverage personal presentation requirements (no jewellery, fake nails or nail polish).
• Previous restaurant experience will be highly regarded.
