As Chef de Partie you will display leadership skills and a strong orientation towards customer service. You will have a passion for food and assist in the coordination of the Kitchen team.
Our talented Kitchen team operates a variety of kitchens throughout the resort, including the large main production kitchen, a busy conference & events space for large groups, and various restaurant kitchens, to create high quality dishes for our guests.
Duties:
• Lead and motivate the kitchen team on a day to day basis as well as mentor apprentices
• Organise and supervise sections
• Daily food preparation and production
• Maintain health and safety standards of the kitchen and equipment
• Demonstrate creativity and a passion for food
• Maintain precise stock control and rotation
• Maintain high and consistent food standards at all times
Skills and Experience:
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
• Minimum 2 years experience in all areas of a kitchen, including banquets and a la carte
• Experience working in a large resort environment
• Exposure to Theme Parks advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and must be flexible with great time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
• Ability to work on any day including weekends, nights and public holidays
