The opportunity:
Paradise Country is renowned for its genuine country hospitality and is seeking an experienced Animal Farmyard Attendant to work within the domestic animal section
whilst upholding our friendly country atmosphere. Open to current Animal Farmyard Attendants at Paradise Country.

Your day to day:
• Ensure the health and care of various domestic animals
• Present the animals in display condition at all times
• Maintain and clean animal areas
• Provide information to guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Follow all safety procedures, policies and signage to ensure a safe
environment for guests, employees and animals

What you’ll bring:
• Previous experience working autonomously in the care of domestic animals.
• Confident in completing animal welfare checks of the nursery animals.
• Proven ability to communicate and identify any animal husbandry issues.
• Good communication skills with a willingness and ability to learn and share
knowledge with guests
• Deliver educational talks to groups of guests
• Have obtained a Certificate III in captive animals or similar qualification
• Own transport essential
• Ability to work on any day including weekends and school holidays
