Opportunity:
Maintain the visual presentation of our revenue environments across Village Roadshow Theme Parks, Gold Coast ensuring that retail and night events are all presented as areas that are immersive and experiential.
Your day to day:
• Creating compelling and effective in-store display, windows, signage and themed spaces for event initiatives.
• ‘Cut in’ new product ranges, paying appropriate attention to space allocation, categorisation and other relevant merchandising concepts.
• Lead day to day in-store merchandising programs across all retail outlets.
• Monitor and report on all in-store merchandising presentations.
• Assist in the conceptualising, design, costing and project management of event initiatives.
• Design and/or procure new shop fittings where required.
• Be the custodian of our internal brands, ensuring we are well presented and maintained.
• Work with Merchandise and Operational teams to ensure store product ranging and planning meets overall outlet strategies.
• In conjunction with the Retail senior leadership team, develop new night event initiatives and ensure these are implemented,
working to multiple deadlines.
What you’ll bring:
• Training/qualifications in Interior Decoration and Design, or preferably in Visual Merchandising.
• Experience with creating and presenting signs and concepts/renderings utilising graphical software i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator or other.
• Ability to develop and manage programs of work.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as a team to achieve best results.
• Solid communication skills with the ability to engage varying levels within the organization.
• An understanding/ability to use tools (powered/non powered) to build or assist in the building of event activations.
• Must have open class driver’s licence.
• Ability to work across parks throughout the day.
