The Opportunity
Make a splash with a career that’s all about creating joy and memories that last a lifetime! Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast is on the lookout for new Lifeguards to join our incredible team.
We’ll provide full training through our world-class International Lifeguard Training Program, so whether you’re already experienced or just love the water, this is your chance to dive in.
As a Lifeguard, you’ll be part of a team that keeps our guests safe while they enjoy the thrills, laughs and unforgettable moments that make Wet’n’Wild and Sea World Resort so special.
Please note interviews will be held on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th March 2026. Successful applicants will need to be available during the April school holiday period.
Key Responsibilities
• Be the safety hero – supervise attractions and keep guests safe while they’re having the time of their lives.
• Jump into action – perform rescues, first aid, or CPR if required.
• Bring the energy – greet guests with positivity and create an environment that’s both safe and fun.
• Stay skilled – join monthly in-service training to keep your knowledge sharp.
• Be part of the magic – help ensure our attractions are operating at their best.
• Embrace the elements – sun, rain, hot or cold, you’ll be part of the adventure every day.
What We’re Looking For
• Must be 18 years of age or over (due to manufacturer requirements)
• Blue Card is essential* (Please be advised that the cost of a Blue Card is currently $104.70, however, VRTP will reimburse employees who successfully complete three months of service).
• Available for training on 17th, 18th March 2026
• Strong swimming ability (200m in 6 minutes, dive to 1.8m and retrieve a 5kg weight, tread water 2 mins)
• A safety-first mindset with a strong guest service focus
• Energy, fitness, and a positive attitude that shines through
• Our parks are at their busiest when the fun is on, so you’ll need to be available across weekends, school holidays and public holidays.
• Bonus points for previous lifeguard, First Aid, or CPR experience
• Immunisation for Hepatitis B is recommended
