The Opportunity
Step into a role where your leadership keeps the parks running smoothly behind the scenes at Village Roadshow Theme Parks. As a hands-on Facilities Supervisor, you’ll guide a team of Leading Hands and contractors to deliver high-quality facilities management and presentation services, ensuring buildings, infrastructure, and essential systems remain safe, efficient, and fully compliant.
From HVAC and plumbing to lighting, fire systems, landscaping, and waste management, you’ll oversee the services that create a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities
Behind every great guest experience is a hero making sure magic works. You’ll be:
• Leading and coordinating a team of Leading Hands, technicians, and contractors to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant facilities operations.
• Overseeing the maintenance, repair, and compliance of Fire, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and kitchen equipment to the highest standards.
• Managing preventative maintenance programs, inspections, CMMS work orders, and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Supervising and engaging contractors across multiple disciplines, ensuring safety, quality, licensing compliance, and adherence to relevant standards and legislation.
• Planning and delivering projects, upgrades, and large-scale works in collaboration with Management, Operations, Technical Services, and Finance.
• Driving safety, compliance, and risk management across all active and passive fire systems, electrical systems, and essential services.
• Liaising with Management and the Revenue Department on budget and financial matters, while identifying efficiencies in in-house and contracted labour.
• Coaching, mentoring, and performance managing your team, including workforce planning, recruitment, and training to maintain high service standards.
• Providing hands-on technical support and problem-solving to ensure facilities remain safe, operational, and presentation-ready at all times.
What We’re Looking For
An energetic hands-on leader who loves solving problems and inspiring their team! You’ll bring:
• Relevant trade certificate or degree is required.
• Proven experience in similar facilities or hands-on supervisory roles across multiple trades.
• Sound knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety requirements with a strong focus on quality control.
• Strong computer skills, with competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
• Competency or ability to utilize SAP & Mobaro (CMMS).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal) with experience in leading a small team and maximizing performance.
• Self-organization, problem solving & time management skills with delegation and performance management.
• Ability to work under pressure & multi-task with a proven ability to work with stakeholders from all business areas.
• EWP license & Forklift license is highly desirable.
• Availability to work 5 days a week and on call in weekends if required.
