The Opportunity
Join our team as a Technical Services Warehouse Assistant at Sea World!
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the safe keeping, maintenance and physical movement of stock within the Tech Services department through the ongoing maintenance, monitoring and reporting of inventory items
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in organisation and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Help keep the magic moving behind the scenes. You’ll:
• Communicate and support maintenance team members on inventory processes and queries relating to material movements
• Monitor levels of ride and attraction spare parts and consumables
• Perform weekly stocktakes
• Maintain inventory items in a manner that is workplace safe. Management of inventory both incoming and outgoing, with goods allocated to correct locations
• Actively look for ways to improve current processes and the restructure of the parts store, be accountable for parts coming and going
• Generate and coordinate Purchase Orders for suppliers with the assistance of the Purchasing Department
• Unload and check off deliveries to ensure all stock it accounted for
• Receipt Purchase Orders into the inventory system and reporting any discrepancies in a timely manner
What We’re Looking For
Are you the organized, hands-on pro ready to keep our inventory running like clockwork? You’ll bring:
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role essential, preferably within a building/engineering industry as product knowledge will be beneficial
• The ability to take ownership of the role, accountability of stock movement and store access
• Strong time management and organisational skills, with at attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven positive attitude with excellent work ethic and the ability to work in a team environment and autonomously when required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal ) with a proven ability to work with stakeholders from all business areas
• Forklift Licence essential
• Proven experience in prior stock takes would be advantageous with experience in a high-volume environment
• Intermediate computer skills with competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook ) and SAP
