The opportunity

Are you ready to turn your passion and trade skills for gardening and outdoor esthetics into a rewarding career? Situated at just off the M1 at Oxenford, Movie World is looking for its next grounds super star!

As a Groundsperson, you will help deliver a high standard of park presentation whilst enhancing the aesthetics of the grounds of our property. We are also looking for a person who have the willingness to learn and be part of an outstanding team.

Your day to day:
• General landscaping and garden maintenance
• Mowing, hedging, spraying and general labouring duties
• Operation, maintenance and cleaning of tools and machinery
• Following all policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for team members and guests

What you’ll bring:
• Certificate III in Horticulture highly desirable
• Demonstrated experience in a similar position with a knowledge of horticulture
• A current manual drivers licence highly desirable
• A current bobcat, back-hoe, truck licence or tractor driving experience desirable
• A high level of understanding and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety
• Must be physically fit, physical requirements include but are not limited to: carrying, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, twisting
• Must be able to start at 5:00am and work on any days including weekends and school holidays
