About the role:

Located at Movie world, as the Business Systems Analyst you will to provide technical and operational support for business-critical applications.  This role involves troubleshooting, resolving issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application performance and user satisfaction.  Using your technical skills, you will work with internal teams and vendors to deliver continuous improvement to business applications.  You will join a collaborative and fun team of professionals, who really love what they do.

The role includes:

  • Incident management – investigate, troubleshoot and resolve application related incidents.
  • User support – provide application related support to end users through timely, accurate and professional responses to end user requests.
  • Application monitoring – working with other team members to implement, review and continuously improve application monitoring.
  • Documentation – develop and maintain documentation for processes, troubleshooting guides and FAQs for business applications.
  • Application integration – develop, maintain and improve a suite of system integrations.
  • Continuous improvement – identify, investigate and implement improvements to existing application configuration to support business objectives.
  • Project support – provide technical support to application projects to assist the project manager and technical lead.

 

About you:

This role is suited to a collaborative IT professional who enjoys working as part of a small team that focuses on problem solving. Building and managing stakeholder relationships is core attribute that will allow you to partner with all areas of our business to achieve deadlines and projects outcomes.

The key skills and competencies we are seeking in the successful candidate include:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform experience advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly.
  • Excellent written verbal communication skills.
  • Well organised with a good attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting third party (COTs and SaaS) applications and working with vendors.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, agile environment.
  • Strong technical skills including SQL knowledge and experience in low code platforms.
  • Exceptional excel & data manipulation skills.
  • Formal ICT degree/qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience with integration platforms such as Workato an advantage.
  • ITIL certification an advantage.
