As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll be right in the heart of the action, helping guests find the perfect souvenir, operating POS systems and ensuring every store sparkles. Whether you’re serving from a retail outlet or a mobile cart, your role is all about creating joyful experiences that make every visit special.

 

No two days will be the same! You’ll be:

• Be a friendly, welcoming face for our guests, providing helpful and knowledgeable service 

• Operate POS registers with accurate cash handling 

• Assist with stock control, merchandising and completing relevant paperwork 

• Maintain a safe, clean and visually appealing retail environment 

• Work effectively as part of a fun, high energy team

 

Our Retail Team plays a key role in bringing our parks and events to life. To be successful in this role, you’ll need availability to work:

• Weekends and school holidays

• Peak seasonal trading periods

• Key park events, including: 

o 🎬 Dive In Movies (Wet’n’Wild)

o 🎃 Fright Nights (Movie World)

o 🎄 White Christmas (Movie World)

o And other major park events throughout the season

Event availability is essential and is often when the fun (and energy!) is at its peak.

 

We’re after people who bring energy, teamwork, and a guest-first attitude! You’ll bring:

• Experience in a similar retail or guest service role (highly regarded)

• Demonstrated cash handling skills

• Photography skills are a bonus

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• A bright, positive, and professional attitude

• Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
