The opportunity:
Assist the Head of Production and Operations Manager in delivering and maintaining casting and show integrity in our world class production. Create and deliver entertainment events, including shows, conferences, and promotions at Australian Outback Spectacular. Coordinate recruitment, training, and daily staffing needs, supervise the show production staff.

Your day to day:
• Supervise all aspects of stage production, ensuring performance meets show standards set by the Director and Production Manager.
• Manage and coordinate the Show Production team, including training, mentoring, recruitment, and performance management.
• Assist the Production Manager with developing and implementing Show Production projects.
• Provide logistical support for events, education, marketing, publicity calls, and photo/film shoots.
• Manage and report on labor usage and expenses within the budget.
• Assist in the preparation of end-of-month (EOM) summaries.
• Oversee the Operations and Admissions team, providing support to Duty Venue Supervisors and managing recruitment, rostering, and performance reviews.
• Provide on-site front-of-house operational support to the Production Operations Manager to meet venue requirements.
• Ensure compliance with MEAA and AWU agreements.
• Coordinate skill reviews and training requirements in collaboration with the Production Manager and Equine Manager.
• Work with the Workforce Planning team to manage show rostering and assist with payroll and rostering queries.
• Coordinate team member leave requests for managerial approval.

What you’ll bring:
• Previous experience in Theme Park or Theatrical environment in a management or supervisory role is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience leading large teams and maximising performance.
• Self organisation, problem solving & time management skills with delegation and performance management.
• Ability to work under pressure & multi-task.
• Strong understanding of effective rostering and labour management.
• Strong computer skills, with competency in Microsoft Office.
